Doors for the Paint and Finishing Industry

Industrial Paint and Finishing

The paint and finishing industry is known for its need for door systems with reliable seals and high durability under continuous open/close cycles. RollSeal’s RS500 and RS600 door systems provide a refreshing alternative to traditional systems. With a superior seal, less required maintenance, and efficient use of space, RollSeal has created a door system perfectly created for your competitive business environment. Reliable performance and great value in a safe package? Only possible with RollSeal technology.

  • Superior seal eliminates debris and losses from air infiltration
  • Provides the ability to isolate operations (sanding, blasting from wash and from paint)
  • Maximize space, increase workflow, and improve energy efficiency

The RollSeal Door uses a patented sealing system that provides a superior seal.

Few things are more important in this industry. Our systems’ seals eliminate airborne debris from the outside and over spray from the inside. The addition of heat escapement only makes this technology that much better. As the system closes, three layers of fabric roll into place within the interior of its protective tracks, creating continuous vertical seals along the interior and exterior of the doorway. This series of automatic and redundant seals provides an air space between the layers of fabric, maintaining heat control and environmental separation. The results are obvious: better heat management and environmental control allow for superior paint curing and, ultimately, better finished products.

  • Available in aluminum, galvanized or stainless steel
  • Compact design reduces operational footprint
  • Ideal for new construction and retrofit applications with an easy 3-Step Installation
  • Patch kit available to repair punctured panels so the entire panel doesn’t have to be replaced

Installation is so simple it can be completed with only three components: left and right uprights and a head unit. Easy installation is not the only convenient feature we designed either.

These doors can be retrofitted to existing paint booths of almost any size -- from standard automotive booths to the largest of industrial truck and equipment booths. The customization continues with a product available in aluminum and galvanized or stainless steel.

Unlike other large tri-fold doors, very little space is required for RollSeal doors to operate. The door’s unique operation allows easy pass-through from prep areas to paint booths. Our doors are designed to separate all staging areas including repairs, refinishing, reassembly, and detailing. Because of the fumes and debris associated with each of these stages, our doors perform as partitions keeping the various stages separate.

  • Doors are built in compliance with NFPA and ETL standards
  • Simple & lightweight design allows door to be safe and maintenance friendly
  • Auto-Reverse Sensor for motorized operators
  • Emergency manual egress system

Safety is at the forefront of our design priorities.

Our technologies easily meet the standards for ETL and NFPA compliance set for Industrial Paint and Finishing applications. The host of features we offer ensures that our system will be a proven ally to any safety program. These features include our impact resistant panel design, manual egress, obstruction and contact sensing, soft start, soft stop, movement notification, and customized operating speeds. • Low cost of ownership -- no scheduled maintenance
  • No counter balance springs or weights, resulting in fewer moving parts and less maintenance
  • Doors are impact resistant and rarely out of commission meaning less downtime for you
  • No more replacing rollers, tracks, panels, hinges, or realignment

The RollSeal Door System has a very low cost of ownership.

Its unique design allows this door to be very forgiving, a feature that results in little to no downtime. Not only is the RollSeal system more durable than competitive technology but the door panel can be replaced or repaired for a fraction of the cost of a metal door. The combination of these two features make for a long-term value that cannot be matched.

  • If the RollSeal panel is hit by a car, the panel will flex, keeping the door in operation
  • If the seal is compromised, the door can simply be rolled up and back down, easily recreating the seal

Simply put: RollSeal doors add space, improve productivity, and reduce energy expense and downtime.
